SUPPORT LANE

Short Term Respite & Support House

Our Short Term Respite and Support House provides a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment for participants who require additional support outside of their home.

Designed to feel like a home, not a facility, our support house offers flexible short-term respite for individuals and families, as well as structured daytime support for participants who may benefit from an alternative to school or community-based settings.

Support at the house may include:

  • Short-term respite stays

  • Daytime support for participants experiencing school refusal

  • One-on-one or small-group support in a safe, supervised environment

  • Support with daily living and home-based skills

  • Cooking and meal preparation skills with a support worker

  • Building independence, routine, and confidence in a home-like setting

Our experienced support workers provide consistent, personalised support tailored to each participant’s needs, abilities, and goals. The focus is on creating a calm, predictable environment where participants feel safe, supported, and able to engage at their own pace.

We work closely with families to ensure respite and support house sessions are purposeful, supportive, and aligned with each participant’s routine and support requirements.
